Wines may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years of age. By ordering from this site you affirm that you are at least 21 years of age and that the person to whom your wine will be delivered is also at least 21 years of age. Product availability
Lead time is dependent on stock availability. Should we have stock available, orders will be dispatched as soon as possible provided payment is validated/received.
Should the product not be in stock please allow 10 working days plus freight transit time, international customers may experience a longer lead time due to additional transport logistics.
Every effort is made to effect shipment of your order timeously however unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Should we be faced with such an occurrence Caroline’s Fine Wine Cellar will contact you via email and provide a revised shipping schedule.
Due to the nature of the product of wine, which is sold from vintage ( year of harvest ) to vintage, it happens that a specific vintage may be listed but sold out. We endeavour to list the actual vintage which is physically in stock. All stocks listed are sold on a “first-come, first-served” basis, and it can happen that a vintage is sold out and we are changing over to the next one, at the time that you make your purchase. In this rare case, we will contact you by e-mail to advise you of this before supplying a different one to that which is on the site.
Delivery Policy
When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree all our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before making any purchase for any service through this website.
Shipping
Please ensure the correct shipping address is provided from the outset as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises.
Undeliverable packages
Occasionally packages are returned to us undeliverable. Should this event take place every attempt will be made to contact you to make arrangements for
re-shipment.
Order processing
Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment.
Payment Options and Pricing
All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR).
Caroline’s Fine Wine Cellar endeavours to offer you competitive prices on current products; you're total order price will include the price of the purchase plus any applicable sales tax and shipping charges (on the day of shipping) but may exclude additional shipping charges or taxes incurred for international deliveries that may have to be paid on accepting the goods.
Caroline’s Fine Wine Cellar reserves the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice.
Returns
Although we will always try to give the best service possible, we understand that mistakes do occasionally happen.
If you receive any wine(s) in your delivery that you did not order we will happily exchange the incorrect goods for the intended ones, once the original wine(s) are returned to Caroline’s Fine Wine Cellar

Security
1. Caroline’s Fine Wine Cellar uses the Nedbank Iveri payment gateway system.
2. All transmissions between you Caroline’s Fine Wine Cellar website and Caroline’s Fine Wine Cellar and the Nedbank Iveri are encrypted using 128 bit encryption key
3. Caroline’s Fine Wine Cellar does not store the details of your credit card that shall enable Caroline’s Fine Wine Cellar to generate another transaction using your credit card
