The Allesverloren Wine Estate is situated on the south-eastern slopes of Kasteelberg near the town of Riebeeck West and is the only registered wine estate in the Swartland district. The estate dates back to 1704 and produced its first wine in 1806. It has been in the hands of the Malan family for five generations. The present owner of this 220 hectare estate is Fanie Malan, and the winemaker is his son Danie.
