Explore the wonderful and fascinating world of wine as seen and enjoyed by South African golfer Ernie Els. Through his many travels around the globe Ernie has been exposed to and appreciated some of the world’s greatest wines and in 1999 decided to pursue his developed passion for fine wine with the creation of Ernie Els Wines. Ernie befittingly chose Stellenbosch, the noble heart of South African wine to base his operation.

The wine is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon which releases strong oak, cigar box and tobacco aromas. These are supported by hints of spice from the Shiraz . Full, juicy red fruits and floral aromas complete the bouquet. The Proprietors Blend has a tight structure with great length and integration. The Initial mineral impression is followed by juicy plum and cassis flavours, and concludes with a fresh jasmine aftertaste. “An accessible wine with a rich oak component that will benefit from further maturation, reaching its peak after 5 years”
