About the Store

This store has been in the Cape Town CBD since 1997, and is run by owner Caroline Rillema with Lezel and Jeremiah. This is the engine-room of the business, where all stock is held in bulk, and a huge range of over 1,500 South African wines are kept, with the largest range of European wines in any retail store in South Africa. We have over 40 different Bordeaux , 30 Burgundies and 15 from Chablis and the Loire . Our forte is Italy and our selection is as good as you will find in Italy itself: we have ten different single-vineyard Barolos, Brunellos from Montalcino, Chianti Classicos, Morellino di Scansano, Vernaccia, Gavi and Super-Tuscans such as Tignanello and Ornellaia... from Spain we have Sierra Cantabria and Torres, and from the Rhone there is Crozes-Hermitage, Hermitage and Condrieu...
