On the nose you pick up very fresh, vibrant wine aromas with red cherry, aniseed, plummy aromas with some nutmeg, spicy, mint notes. On the palate you get generous chocolaty, blackberry, red cherry flavours and slinky, dry tannins. Finishes long and bittersweet. A very well-balanced wine that should improve with further aging.
