This 65ha farm is owned by Vernon Cole, a former tobacco farmer from Malawi, who established it in 1997. Toit Wessels, his current winemaker, has been there since 2007 and is clearly in full control of his vineyards and wine.

We tasted the whole range two weeks ago, and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. This fresh Sauvignon made from all their own grapes, combines both green and tropical tones – snap-peas and granadilla. It is well balanced and delicious. Drink on its own as an aperitif, or with subtly flavoured fish dishes.
