Château Beauvillage is a family property where 3 successive generations of empassioned winegrowers expressed their devotion to their lands of 21 hectares.
The estate is located in Cissac, between Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe. On a typical Medoc terroir composed of a mixture of clay and chalk. Several actions of green harvesting take place during the vegetative cycle in order to reach the highest harvest quality possible. Their wines are a true beautiful terroir expression.
It all started in 1925 when Valérie BUGADA-JEAN’s grandfather looked at the terroir of the smallest village in the Médoc. He then acquired his first plots of land in the town of Couquèques. As a true enthusiast of vine and wine, he passed on all his knowledge to his sons Christian and Claude whom many years later will also transmit this family heritage to Eric BUGADA. After higher studies in civil engineering, Eric whose heart has always oscillated between exceptional architectural designs and beautiful bottles, is offered by his in-laws to join the family vineyard. Endowed with a critical sense and an increased demand, he never stoped innovating. It was in 2015 that a new adventure began, since his wife Valérie, after a career in tourism and communication will join him, shaping the dynamic future of Château Beauvillage
