Bindi Sergardi I Colli Chianti Classico Riserva 2018
“Intense ruby red color. Fruit, flowers and spices on the nose, a bouquet that reflects the soil where it comes from, rich in Alberese. In the mouth it is soft, with a nice level of acidity that makes this wine fresh and lively. Sweet and mature tannins grant the wine a long finish. The Riserva I Colli is an excellent expression of Sangiovese within the estate and that is why it carries its name.” – Winemaker
“Ripe berries and cedar with some fresh herbs on both the nose and palate. Medium-bodied with chewy tannins that also show some wood tannin. The fruit and the acidity come through on the finish.” – James Suckling 94
“Bordering on opulent, this red features blackberry, black currant, plum, iron and spice aromas and flavors, matched to a velvety texture. Firms up as the resonant tannins emerge, yet remains harmonious and long.” – Wine Spectator 93
