The wine spent 15 months maturing in American and French oak barrels prior to bottling. It was made from a selection of vineyard parcels that were vinified in different cellars across the group. Another selection took place when we had to select barrels of the best wines for the final blend. It was truly a team effort, from the viticultural investments in pursuing the best quality fruit to the involvement of winemaking teams across the organisation”.
A complex wine, it shows aromas of blackcurrant and spice. The palate is characterized by fruit prominence and smokiness and reveals notes of berries and plums, with a hint of dark chocolate.
This Cabernet Sauvignon would be well accompanied by a thick cut ribeye steak and baked potato with sour cream.
