Region: Cape Point
Cape Point Vineyards is uniquely situated in the Cape Peninsula on a narrow strip of land perfectly poised between the disparate oceans of the icy Atlantic and the warmer currents of False Bay. Buffeted by cool breezes from the nearby oceans their vines enjoy a unique microclimate with slow ripening conditions – ideal for the production of world class Sauvignon Blanc.
Named after owner Sybrand’s granddaughter, Isliedh best reflects the uniqueness of this Noordhoek Estate.
Cultivars: 83% Sauvignon Blanc; 17% Semillon
The wine displays a complex array of limes, minerality, tropical fruit and spice which will be accompanied by secondary flavours over time. Cape Point Vineyards Isliedh can be best enjoyed over the next 5 years and possibly even 10.
