Colmant was established in 2001 and is South Africa’s first cellar to be solely dedicated to Cap Classique. It was designed with specific attention to detail that allows for the production and maturation of the very best bottle-fermented sparkling wines. On completion of the cellar building in 2005, the farm was ready for its first harvest in 2006. They released their first classic Colmant style bubbly in 2008. Today they produce Cap Classique wines across six different blends.
Colmant Sec Reserve NV is slightly off-dry with lingering flavours of ripe citrus and sun-sweetened apple generosity.
