Dainty Bess was started in 2009 by Naas and Jenny Ferreira when they produced a sparkling wine from a small vineyard in Klein Optenhorst. Paying homage to the property, they named their wine Klein Optenhorst MCC. However after 29 years, Naas and Jenny sold their farm to follow a new venture. Their daughter, Jane, continued producing the wine under the name Dainty Bess, which is Jenny’s favourite rose.

Tasting note:
Attractive salmon pink in colour. Raspberry fruit, light yeasty aromas and a hint of spice on the nose. The palate is very elegant with a fine mousse and fresh acidity.
