The name Delaire means ‘from the sky’, a suitable name for this estate, nestled high on the crest of Helshoogte Pass outside Stellenbosch. Current owner, London-based diamantaire Laurence Graff, bought the property in 2003.

The Banghoek is a Bordeaux style blend of 53% Cabernet Franc, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot,
3% Malbec from grapes growing on the oldest mountain vineyards on the Delaire Graff Estate. The wine was matured in 60% new French oak barrels for sixteen months.
