Domaine de la Grosse Pierre is a family-run wine estate located in the heart of the Beaujolais region, specifically in the village of Chiroubles. Established in the 1960s by Georges Passot, the estate is now managed by his granddaughter, Pauline Passot, who took over in 2018 after gaining experience as a sommelier in France and abroad
The ‘La Grosse Pierre’ cuvée is often produced from older vines on the eponymous parcel. Winemaking typically involves manual harvesting, whole bunch fermentation, and aging in concrete tanks with minimal sulfur intervention, reflecting a move towards natural winemaking practices under the current generation.
