1btl x Frescobaldi Castiglioni Chianti 2021 @R397
Blend: Sangiovese and small amounts of Merlot
Tasting note: Chianti Castiglioni 2021 is a vibrant ruby red colour. It is a pleasantly fruity wine on the nose, with notes reminiscent of redcurrant, raspberry, morello cherry and wild strawberry. A beautiful floral sensation on the finish is accompanied by spicy hints of clove. Lively and fresh on the palate with pleasant but never overwhelming tannins . The lovely finish is long, crisp and delicate.
2btls x Apollonio Elfo Negriamaro Rosso 2021 @R326
Cultivar: Negroamaro, native to Puglia, is the main black grape variety of Salen- to. Its origins are very ancient (8th century B.C.) and likely owes its name to the terms “niger” (Latin) and “mavros” (Greek) which both refer to the colour black. Its great versatility makes it suitable for all types of winemaking.
Tasting note: Fruity with hints of fresh flowers and almond. Light scents of berries. The vegetal nuances are also pleasant. Robust and round with strong tannins, good acidity and persistence.
2btls x Mezzacorona Dinotte 2019 @R296
Tasting note: Mezzacorona Red Blend expresses the aromatic richness of two noble varietals of the Dolomites, Teroldego and Marzemino, combined with an international varietal, Merlot, for elegance and softness. Teroldego, with its profound flavors of red currants, blackberry, and blueberry, provides a full-bodied structure. Marzemino brings a pleasant juicy character that creates a soft, velvety, palate pleasing wine. The Red Blend is balanced with the addition of Merlot to add aromatic notes of vanilla and cocoa.
1btl x Cantina Zaccagnini montepulciano d Abruzzo 2020 @R341

It is full-bodied and robust, with a perfect integration of tannins and wood, all leading to a dry, supple finish.
