Region: Klein Karoo
Joubert-Tradauw is a family-owned private cellar in the Tradouw Valley in the Klein Karoo region on the famous R62 route. The farm is located just outside the picturesque village of Barrydale. Life around here is mainly about two things; fruit of the vine and the work of human hands. Step into the clean, crisp air and onto the rich, fertile soil of the Tradouw Valley.
Cultivars: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon; 36% Merlot; 14% Cabernet Franc
Tasting Notes:
This classic red is named after the Route 62 highway that passes through the beautiful Tradouw Valley. Matured in French oak for twenty months, bottled unfiltered.
The cultivars that make up this classic were matured separately using only the best barrels. A complex note gives away to underlying tones of raspberries, blackberries and red fruit, followed by a lingering herbal finish.
