Since the first vintage was bottled in 1984, Kaapzicht (Cape view – named for its view of Table Mountain) has become highly respected for its quality range of wines and good value for money and has earned a multitude of local and international awards. The Steytler Family has farmed this land since 1946 and runs their 190 hectare estate hands-on. The estate in the Bottelary Hills in the Stellenbosch district celebrated its 70th anniversary as a family farm in 2016.
