Established by Governor Willem Adriaan van der Stel in 1709, Lourensford has a proud history as a world-class fruit farm. Fortunately, the winemaking tradition was revived when well-known Cape business man, Dr Christo Wiese purchased the Estate in 1998. Situated at Somerset West, the estate covers a remarkable 4,000 hectares, ranging almost all the way up Hederberg Mountain. It embraces a large fynbos conservatory, forests, orchards and 100 hectares of cool-grown vineyard, caressed by breezes off the Atlantic Ocean.
This White Blend is the crème-de-la-crème of the white wines on Lourensford. Harvested from select sections of the best single-vineyards. It is skillfully and meticulously blended from the best barrels in the cellar to express the essence of their unique terroir.
Cultivar: Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier.
