Alex Dale and Ben Radford are the founders of Radford Dale. Alex and his team produce only the most individual, terroir-focused wines under the Radford Dale range. They own some vineyards but also co-manage parcels of the best vines with growers in other regions. They follow a minimal intervention winemaking approach and their dedication to nature, geology and climate is beautifully expressed in their wines.

The old bush vines that make this individualistic Pinotage are rooted in unusual white clay at the foot of the Helderberg Mountain. Unirrigated, these vines plunge their roots deep into the earth in search of moisture to sustain the ripening of grapes into the long dry summers of the Cape.
