Roodekrantz Wines is a small boutique label with artisinal wine producers Marius Burger (director), Marius Buger Jr (marketing), and Danie Morkel the winemaker, who crafts fine artisinal wines from selected blocks of old dry land vines and other vineyards of exceptional terroir. They believe wines are made in the vineyard and careful vineyard selection is therefore key. Very close relationships with growers ensure sustainable vineyard practices and deliver consistent quality in the bottle.
They have access to some of the finest certified old vineyard blocks (older than thirty-five years) in the Industry. This segment of their business is becoming particularly interesting as they strive to keep these vineyards in the ground.
