Tasting note

The Whispering Angel is a beautiful peachy pink or light salmon colour. The nose is fresh with pure, sweet notes of raspberry and strawberry. The wine is completely dry with a slight glycerol roundness married to a serious acid backbone. Those same pure fruit aromas are mirrored on the palate. The wine is fresh and bright; it’s expansive on the mid-palate, and has long, clean, fresh finish.

Food pairing

Seafood platters containing mostly shellfish, or even just on its own watching the sun set…….

Owned by Sacha Lichine. Born in Bordeaux and educated in the U.S. Sacha Lichine began working at his family’s property, Chateau Prieuré Lichine, during the summers of his youth. At age 23, Sacha began his career by engaging in a variety of endeavours including organizing luxury wine tours in France and establishing a negociant business, Sacha Lichine Estate Selections for wines from Burgundy and the Rhone.

The grapes are grown on some of the most choice land in the surrounding region of La Motte en Provence, consisting primarily of Grenache, Rolle ( Vermentino ), Cinsault, Syrah and Tibouren.
