“This elegant style of Pinot Noir shows prominent aromas of wild cherries and strawberry with baking spice undertones. It has a finely textured palate with silky tannin, cranberry and boiled sweets makes way for notes of truffle and dark chocolate followed by a fresh and vibrant finish” – Winemaker

“Grapes from two side of the same mountain, the Hemel-en-Aarde side planted in 2006 and the Walker Bay side in 2008. Matured for 10 months in barrel, 30% new. Red cherry, cranberry, an intriguing herbal quality and some flinty reduction on the nose. The palate is light-bodied with vibrant acidity, the tannins very fine – arguably a bit angular. It all started between friends across two continents who shared a love for pure, unadulterated wines that truly reflect their origin and our home, the Cape.
