Beautiful deep garnet colour. The nose has heady aromas of black fruits and blueberry notes and hints of Christmas cake with overtones of cigar box, vanilla and five spice. The palate is full and rich packed with dark fruits, cedar, vanilla spice and dried herbs. The finish is dry and lingering.

Businessmen Les Sweidan and Mike Church founded their boutique winery twenty years ago with the intention of taking the high road in four main areas of focus: grape variety, origin, use of French oak and honest business practice. Their emphasis is on cabernet and blends with the ‘king’ of red-wine grapes, sourced from Stellenbosch, an area synonymous with the variety. Guided by their consultant winemakers for the past fifteen vintages, they have succeeded in producing exceptional vintage-specific wines with the elegance, intrinsic depth and distinction of a classic Bordeaux red at their core. The epitome of Bordeaux, yet expressing a sense of place that is uniquely Stellenbosch.
Blend: 70 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 18 % Merlot, 4 % Cabernet Franc, 4 % Malbec and 4 % Petit Verdot.
