After graduating from Stellenbosch University with a BSc in Viticulture and Oenology, Trizanne Barnard worked multiple vintages in Australia, France and Portugal. In 2008 she started her own brand – Trizanne Signature Wines. Since her first vintage, Trizanne was intrigued by two quite diverse South African wine regions, namely Elim with the cooler temperature vineyards for Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, contrasted with the concentrated reds of the warmer, drier Swartland. Since then she has grown her wine portfolio, specifically focusing on her affinity for the cooler climates of South Africa’s wine regions.
Grapes for her Seascape Range, are sourced from vineyards from Elim, Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge, Sondagskloof and Benede-Duivenshokrivier. Each wine has been carefully crafted with passion and expertise, capturing the distinct characteristics of its respective ward and Trizanne’s expression as winemaker. These new releases offer a glimpse into the Cape South Coast and are a true reflection of the beauty and diversity found in this area. The label is a creative extension of what you can expect in the bottle.
