VINTAGE CONDITIONS A cold and wet winter filled up the soil profiles. Warm weather in August
resulted in earlier bud break, after which a warm, dry and windy summer
accelerated ripening by two weeks. Lower temperatures at night during
ripening contributed to pleasing colour and flavour.

NOSE Fresh black cherry, raspberry and rose petal on the nose with light spice and
PALATE The palate is pure and nicely polished showing opulent cassis and plum
enrobed in herbal freshness. White pepper spice that ever so pleasantly
lingers on the palate which tapers to a dry finish. This classy elixir will be
enhanced with ageing.
