‘One’s footsteps must be in the soil, you must understand the soil, the plant and the climate.’ Jan ‘Boland’ Coetzee
Rugby legend Jan ‘Boland’ Coetzee bought this farm on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountains thirty-five years ago, and has been quietly pursuing excellence in both vineyard and cellar over the years. His aim has always been to make classic wines, and Burgundy has been his benchmark for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Aromas of lemon and lime with some dried pear. A beautiful creaminess with sweet brioche and almond with lingering green apple and citrus on the aftertaste.
