‘Grapes from the biodynamic Polkadraai property that is home to Reyneke Wines, but not certified as such because the vineyard in question is situated too close to a conventionally farmed property and hence affected by spray drift. Violets, plum, cassis, earth and a slightly wild, hard-to-describe edge. Medium bodied and yet intensely flavoured. Pure fruit and fresh acidity before a super-dry finish. Alc: 13.1%.’ – CE

Nuschka’s love for wine dates back to growing up in her family’s small organic farm in the Western Cape where she fondly remembers indulging in great company paired with incredible wine, with this in mind her choice to pursue a career in the wine industry was a simple one. Traveling to Bordeaux, Mosel and New Zealand to further hone her skill and paving her way as winemaker at Reyneke Wines for 6 years, Nuschka had decided to venture off in establishing her own brand, Vuples Wines. Established in February 2022 her maiden release The Fox Chenin Blanc 2022 was produced using grapes from the Swartland area where she passionately embraces sustainability through organic and sustainable farming methods.
